A Farewell Message of Thanks to the FCSD Community

Posted Date: 6/27/25 (5:02 PM)

Dear FCSD Families & Community Members,

As I prepare to retire, I want to take a moment to personally thank you for the incredible privilege of partnering with you over the past several years. It has truly been an honor to serve the Fulton City School District and to work alongside such caring, committed families who always put children first.

Since the 2016–17 school year, I’ve had the joy of watching our students grow, learn, and thrive—and that’s only been possible because of the strong support you provide at home. Your involvement, encouragement, and trust have made a lasting difference in our schools and in the lives of so many young people.

Together, we’ve built a district rooted in compassion, resilience, and high expectations. I’m so proud of everything we’ve accomplished—from strengthening academic programs to supporting students’ social and emotional well-being. Through it all, your partnership has been essential.

As I step into retirement, I do so with a full heart and deep confidence in the future of FCSD. I know this is a community that will continue to nurture and inspire every student, every day.

Thank you for welcoming me into this community and for allowing me to be part of your children’s educational journey. The relationships, memories, and moments we’ve shared will stay with me always.

Wishing you and your children a wonderful 2025–26 school year filled with joy, growth, and new beginnings.

Respectfully,
Brian T. Pulvino
Superintendent
