She is often found in the hallways conversing with students making sure they are set for success and know that if they are in need she is their go to person. Maria is crucial in making the non-English speaking parents feel welcome and connected to our school. "She is so very caring for all of her students. She is constantly going above and beyond for the needs of her children. She opens the doors to education for the many children that are overlooked elsewhere. To say that she is kind and loving is an understatement. There's not enough words to describe her and the love she has. She is willing to listen and look for ways unique to the children's needs to open the learning process to them..."
