Hello Fairgrieve Families

Thank you for your continued partnership as we move through the second quarter of the school year.​  As we quickly transition from autumn to winter, this is always a special time at Fairgrieve Elementary School​ that filled with unique learning experiences, opportunities for kindness, and the joy of the holiday season.

While the calendar may be busy, our commitment to academic excellence remains our top priority. ​ With ​parent-teacher conferences completed​ and 2nd progress reports on the horizon, ​F​airgrieve Elementary will continue to focus on core instruction for ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies.

If you have a moment, please visit our Lens of Learning Site (accessed on the district's website), where you can view the ​various topics currently being taught at each grade level for every subject area​ throughout the Fulton City School District.

Look at Me, I'm 3, December 2025 Event

The Fulton City School District is continuing the "Look at Me, I'm Three" (click for flyer) events in December. This special celebration is just for our three-year-olds and their families. Come join us for stories, fun, and early learning activities!

Bring along your favorite stuffed animal to share the fun.

Mobile Dental Clinic – Coming to Catholic Charities in December

What: Free dental services including cleanings, X-rays, extractions, fillings, pain management, antibiotics, and support obtaining dental insurance
Who: Individuals with Fidelis or WellCare insurance
When: Wednesday, December 17, 2025 | Appointments available 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
How: Call 1-877-248-6684 to schedule an appointment

Kindness

Character Trait of the Month: KINDNESS

Throughout December we will focus on what it looks and sounds like to embody the trait of KINDENESS!

Students who are role models, are aware of the good things that happen to them and never take them for granted. Their friends and family members know that they are a KIND person because they showcase the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate.

Goal Setting Progress

This year, we are continuing to build on our focus of goal setting. Each student will create both an attendance goal and an academic goal, along with the action steps they plan to take to reach them. Students will be sharing these goals with families in early October, so keep an eye out for that information!

Goal setting isn’t just for students. Our staff is also working on setting team and individual goals to guide our work throughout the year. Together, these efforts help create a culture of growth, accountability, and success for all..
