Jared Campbell Brings Music and Positivity to Fulton Schools
Award-winning singer and songwriter Jared Campbell visited Fairgrieve and Lanigan Elementary, inspiring students with his positive and uplifting music. His message encourages kids to be “rockstars” by spreading kindness in their daily lives.

A favorite in Fulton schools, Campbell has been a regular guest for years. He will return this spring to perform at Granby and Volney Elementary Schools.
Families can also catch him live at Oswego’s Harborfest this summer!

District Sports Highlights
Our district’s athletes have been making us proud!
  • Our girls' bowling team won the Section 3 title, and our girls' wrestling team captured the first-ever sectional title — an incredible achievement!
  • We also had individual athletes from our boys' and girls' indoor track and swim teams compete at the state qualifiers and represent us well.
  • Both our girls' and boys' basketball teams made the playoffs, along with our hockey team.
As we look ahead to spring sports, we’re excited for even more success and unforgettable moments. Family ID is currently open for athletes to sign up for spring. Go Dragons!

Attendance - Did You Know?
Starting in preschool and kindergarten, too many absences can cause children to fall behind in school.
  • Missing 10%, or about 2 days each month over the course of a school year, can make it harder to learn to read.
  • Students can still fall behind if they miss just one or two days every few weeks.
  • Being late to school may lead to poor attendance.
High School Students prepare for their annual graduation walk.
Why Attendance Matters
Absences and tardiness can affect the whole classroom if the teacher has to slow down learning to help children catch up.
  • Attending school regularly helps children feel better about school—and themselves.
  • Start building this habit in preschool so they learn right away that going to school on time, every day is important.
  • Eventually good attendance will be a skill that will help them succeed in high school and college.
