Board of Education Meeting (8/12)

A meeting of the Board of Education of the Fulton City School District will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 beginning at 5:45 p.m.

This meeting will take place at the Ed Center, 167 S. 4th St., in room 111. Please use the main entrance for admittance.

The meeting will be livestreamed, with more information to be posted on the district website at fultoncsd.org.

DRAFT FCSD Safety Plan 2025-2026 Available for Comment Until August 25, 2025

Each year, New York State requires that school districts review and update their District Safety Plans. Part of this process is a 30-day comment opportunity for the community. If community members would like to provide feedback regarding the draft version of the Fulton City School District Safety Plan, please send your comments via email to Kate Hooper. The plan will be available for comment until August 25, 2025.

The Fulton City School District’s new District Cell Phone Policy was recently approved by the Board of Education.

UPK & KINDERGARTEN 2025-2026 BUS ORIENTATION

On Wednesday, September 3, 2025, the Fulton City School District will conduct a special practice run for UPK students who are 4 years old and all Kindergarten students.

Bus runs will start at approximately 8:00 a.m. and parents should be at assigned stops with their students (students’ specific bus information will be sent out mid-August). Upon arrival at elementary schools, the bus driver will talk to the students about bus safety. The buses will begin the return trips to take students back home at approximately 9:00 a.m.

Parents are encouraged to accompany their chidlren.

For 3-year old UPK students, there will be a Bus Orientation on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 8:45 a.m. This orientation will be conducted in the bus loops at the school students will be attending UPK.

Normal school year busing for UPK (4-year olds) and Kindergarten students begins on Thursday, September 4, 2025.
