A Note from the School Business Administrator
Dear Families and Staff,

As the month of January comes to a close, we are fully engaged in the planning process for the 2025-2026 budget. In mid-January, the Governor released the Executive Budget Proposal which includes initial State Aid numbers. This is critical information in planning for the upcoming year’s budget because State Aid is one of the main sources of revenue for school districts. As the process continues, we will continue to discuss the revenue side of the budget as well as expenditure projections.

The Business Office will provide budget updates at each Board of Education meeting going forward and we will schedule additional budget workshops as needed.

The budget process will culminate in May with the Public Budget Forum on May 13, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. and the Budget Vote/Board Election on May 20, 2025.

Look for more information as the dates approach!
